City & Guilds 2886, Conflict Management Trainer Course


Who is this course for?

This course is to offer qualified trainers with the knowledge and skills to provide Conflict Management training to staff within the security industry. This qualification is a requirement as part of the SIA licensing. If you desire to teach or train adults in conflict management at work then this course covers all knowledge needed to gain the City & Guilds 2886 Level 3 award, Delivery of Conflict Management Training.


Entry Requirements

Proof of identification (passport or drivers licence) is a requirement along with proof of address. Qualifications or experience in teaching is preferred. If you have no qualifications regarding teaching perhaps you would also like to consider our PTLLS training course.


Assessment and Certification

You will have a written and practical assessment. On completion of the course you will be awarded with a Conflict Management qualification that is fully compliant with the SIA occupational standards.

This course is perfect for those who desire to train their security personnel such as Door Supervisors and ‘front of house’ staff’. You will teach conflict management to adults in a workplace or college according to the requirements of the SIA. This course will teach you how to train others in security roles of conflict managements with confidence when delivering your classes. You will have the knowledge and confidence to plan and deliver lessons, design conflict management scenarios, apply conflict management knowledge to practical settings, teach others how to assess and reduce the risk of violence and be a vital member of your training team.
